Well, I've had this web site for 6 years now, so I think I can actually write a little about myself. I grew up in a small Indiana town, went to Indiana University (of course), moved to Colorado, dabbled in a little work as a bachelor's chemist, studied for a year as an organic chemist grad student, worked for a year in the "real world," taught chemistry labs to undergraduates for a few years, studied again for a year as an "educator" grad student, taught at a summer science camp, student taught in a small Colorado high school and a Philadelphia inner city school, then got paid to teach in an awesome Philadelphia suburban high school, moved to California, taught in another awesome high school, became a mom...to twins, and finally --- teach in an another absolutely positively great high school!
